9102 | Senior Manager, Application Integrations, Tarrytown, New York 10591, $140,000/year (US/GC/EAD accepted employment statuses)Client-- Westcon Group (Information Technology distributor of category-leading unified communications & collaboration technology, network infrastructure, data center, data/telecom and IT/Data & Network security solutions with a global network of specialty resellers) You will work directly for the WestCon Benefits provided by WestconJob Description: This is a Senior Manager position with extended management experience.We are looking for a leader with experience managing small groups of geographically dispersed integration analysts, developers, and project managers.In addition to supporting the design and development of new solutions, the applicant will be responsible for working with the business leaders in their region to prioritize and manage the workload of the Integration teams.The applicant will also partner with Application Integrations (AIT) Leadership to establish the roadmap for the integration platforms (BizTalk for EDI/API/ESB) as well as the maintenance and socialization of that roadmap and process.Because the AI Team is still an emerging group within our IT organization, a major part of any role on the team is to collaborate and inform others within the organization as to what it is the AIT does.This will involve collaborating with other leaders within the IT organization and ensuring that the AIT is capable of supporting their new initiatives. This role will be viewed as the in-region leader with respect to Application Integrations.Responsibilities and Duties:The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to:Partner with AI Leadership to develop an Integrations roadmap and drive the expansion of the EDI/API/ESB platform, including the immediate upgrade of the BizTalk product along with the standardization of Web Service offerings to both our internal and external partners.Partner with other regional AI Managers to ensure local Development Leads/teams are maintaining alignment across regions in their design and solution approaches.Partner with Business and IT Leadership to prioritize Integration demands and – using enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and Jira – manage the resources, budgets, and timelines for the demands within their region, all while developing an estimation model that supports comparison of estimates versus actual spend.Support the establishment and management of the Production Support model for the EDI and API solutions, including the communication protocol for any outages within the entire Integration landscape.Support Analysts in RCA of issues and communicate findings and resolution plans to extended IT organization.Support Analysts and Development Leads in establishing best practices, including monitoring and measuring the quality of deliverables from the groups, ensuring on time and quality deliverables.Ensure the team operates in a model wherein they seek continuous improvement opportunities, and support the development of plans to execute those opportunities.Partner with Business and AI Leadership to communicate details of our Integration capabilities – ranging from general info to technical guidelines – throughout the organization, continually socializing the platform and its expansion.Gather and document business challenges and work with the cross-regional teams to develop new Integration solutions, or enhance existing ones, to creatively solve those challenges.Monitor advances in the Integration space to ensure that Westcon keeps pace with the industry, working to leverage existing capabilities to sunset legacy integrations where applicable.Build strong relationships with IT and Business leaders and gain their confidence and respect.Required Qualifications: (e.g., education, sRkills, abilities, knowledge)The accomplished individual will possess...Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience7+ years of total IT experience with at least 5 years of management experience in the Integration space1-3 years of Integration design experience in a client/server or SOA environmentExperience in the management of an offshore team, or distributed team a mustExposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments (Ex Java, .NET, iOS, Oracle, SQL, Linux, Windows)Proven track record of bringing in innovation and new technologiesCertifications on any emerging technologies is a plusSoft SkillsStrong leadership skills:Independent self-starter, must be self-sufficient in seeking the solution to problems within your regionAbility to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situationsExceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation, as this position has significant interactions with non-technical stakeholders.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including documentation and presentationAbility to comfortably deal with and present to senior IT and business leadersStructured, detail oriented, capable of supporting PMO processes by developing task lists and project plans for AIT deliverablesCapable of managing conflicting priorities and negotiating in region for resolutionHard Skills:Knowledge of all components of integration technology architectureApplications: Request reply, Restful web services, Pub Sub modeling, Client server application development, Cloud based application development, SaaS integration experienceTechnologies: BizTalk, BizTalk ESB Framework, BizTalk EDIKnowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processesStrong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/server systemsKnowledge of IT security and regulatory compliance (PCI, PII, etc.)Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologiesCharacteristics:A respected leader who works well with others.Remains unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor choice;
